The FVUK Guest Mix Series is hosted and put together by the well know DJ XS out of London, well known for his bag of never ending edits, DJ skills and his popularity across social platforms such as Soundcloud and YouTube.

Nottingham based hip hop head and funky breaks producer extraordinaire, Toy Beats, joins us for another monthly Guest Mix on the channel, offering up his funky 60, showcasing his love for all things old school with a selection of funked up mash ups featuring classic joints from the likes of Dr Dre, Run DMC, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Kurtis Blow, Nate Dogg & LL Cool J.

Rising from the dust of the 90’s Free Party and Rave scene, Toy Beats started his DJ career at 17 years of age playing to crowds of party people in quarry’s, forests and disused airfields. In more recent years he’s picked up residencies at Rough Trade, After Dark and Various clubs and UK festivals.

Toy Beats has been releasing his own material since 2017, with remixes and tracks on the likes of Scour Records, Breakbeat Paradise Recordings and Cuttin’ It Fine Records as well as now reaching his childhood dream of being selected to showcase his talents via the ‘Funky Vibes UK Guest Mix Series’.” – DJ XS
