Saku – Unlocked Beats 2020 Mix

Unlocked Beats. This mix is a memory of summer 2020, the time of a brief respite in between two lockdowns, when we could lose it on the dancefloor again. Small open air events and smiling people enjoying the music brought the community back together. And these are some of the tracks that I always had on me when I went to play there. I wish that we all – club owners, promoters, Djs, sound engineers, club-goers and every other part of the scene – can soon go back to what we love. In the meantime, stay safe. I really like Progressive Breakbeat, from the early days of Distinctive Records and acts like Hybrid there’s still a solid foundation for the genre be it a bit more underground these days.
