Elite Force – LIVE @ Pure Selection – 23.03.2008

Elite Force aka Simon Shackleton has had an extensive career in the music industry spanning well over 2 decades. Starting his career off as a musician and being a band member with Thom Yorke (Radiohead) before moving onto his own outfit called Lunatic Calm which had quite a successful career and a few number one tunes including “Rollercoaster”. Simon has also worked with a bunch of top musical artists, remixed, wrote movie soundtracks, toured the world and was one to watch in the Nuskool Breaks scene. He then developed the Tech Funk genre in the late 2000’s included with such artists as Meat Katie and Dylan Rhymes to name a few. This mix was recorded Live at a Spanish Festival back in 2008, thanks to my Spanish friend Jamie for the mp3.

Elite Force – Mixed By B-Roll

B-Roll has been on a roll lately (pardon the pun) by mixing tracks from some of the more well known artists to brace the breaks scene over the last 20 years. On this occasion B-Roll selects tracks from the master that is Elite Force known for help starting the Tech Funk genre, a more 4 on the floor type of breakbeat. Don’t worry there are breaks tracks in the mix too.
