BadboE – Pushin The Funk Mixtape December 2009

BadboE was born in Denmark in 1980 and started out in the mid 90’s making euro hardcore techno, after trying out just about every genre that was around at that time Breakbeat and Funky Breaks was something that he wanted to concentrate on. In 2006 BadboE formed his own digital label, Breakbeat Paradise Recordings along with fellow musician Wiccatron. Since then BadboE’s talent as a producer and DJ have continued to grow, he still releases music till this day and BBP recordings are still going strong.

This mix is from 2009 and shows a fine collection of Funky Breaks that were around at that time.

BadboE aka Boe Pederson originally from Denmark who now lives in Florida is one of the original souls from the very early beginnings of the Funky Breaks scene. He started the Breakbeat Paradise imprint in 1996 with a website dedicated to breakers and electronic musicians with a community forum, music sharing and sample packs.

In 2006 BadboE turned his popular website into a Funky Breaks label “Breakbeat Paradise Recordings” with which hundreds of musical releases have occurred. This latest mix from Boe features new joints from Breakbeat Junkie vs DJP, B-Side feat. Kurnel MC, Morlack, Turntill & Merlin, Roast Beats, Tosses, Ewan Hoozami,a new BadboE stomper and a couple of new ones from me, Pecoe.
